So this is the blog for my SimCity 4 city journal of Chereon. It's based on the capital city of my fictional nation Denojiva and Caspiana which is in eastern Europe and western Asia but I've transformed it into a separate fictional nation. I'll be posting as regularly as I can, what with uni starting and all.

So here goes!

Chereon is a kingdom situated in a narrow strip of land between two seas: the smaller Chereon Sea to the east and the larger Blue Sea to the west. The western coast which makes up Bezuopolis Province is quite flat and does not go much higher than sea level for a couple of hundred kilometres. This large plain surrounds Chereonese Gulf. The south-eastern coast is dominated by the St George Range. This rough region is Great Bay Province. Through the middle of the kingdom runs the Chereon River and Valley. The wide plain of Bezuopolis Province narrows, and along this valley sit the city of Bezuopolis at the mouth of the river, the township of Cania at the confluence of the Chereon and Elizabeth Rivers, and the capital city Chereon. In the far south west of the country sits the St George River, where the town of St George is situated. The north-east is dominated by the enormous Mount Saint James, a semi-dormant volcano. The surrounding plain to the west is highly fertile.
